To start with, a fact to keep in mind that has not been taken into account in any analysis that we have read about this scooter: the new 48V nominal battery (54.6V maximum output voltage). This makes all the difference, because thanks to this new battery it can equip a more powerful motor, accelerate more, climb steeper slopes, etc. Scooters that are equipped with a 36V nominal battery (the battery that almost all Xiaomi-style scooters have) are very limited, and are not highly recommended because in the medium / long term it will be very fair. So, although manufacturers often give maximum output power data to make it seem like their models are more powerful (when the interesting thing is to know the nominal power, which is the one that can be maintained continuously), we always also look at the Battery Voltage.

And why does the Battery Voltage have a direct influence? Because when we talk about electricity, we must take into account the power formula, which is none other than Power = Voltage x Intensity. That is, the higher the battery voltage, the more powerful we can have an engine.

Finally Xiaomi has designed a scooter that is worth buying, and that will not disappoint that niche of the most demanding adult public; Until now, it had been inclined towards other brands and more powerful models, which also offered better finishes and better equipment. This urban scooter, without being premium in all its sections, does have all the necessary ingredients to be considered a very valid purchase option, and possibly, together with the Segway Ninebot Max G2 (which we find slightly superior), is the best urban scooter you can find on the market at a very competitive price.
